Transforming Compassion Seminar II

Next Friday (12 September) is the second seminar of the Transforming Compassion project sponsored by Stiftelsen Arkivet, in cooperation with the University of Agder.

This seminar will tend more on the academic side of the research questions guiding the project.  The main speakers will focus on how their disciplines understand and facilitate compassion across significant boundaries such as religion, age and gender.

As scientific leader of the project, I will open the seminar with an overview of our progress and outline our further plans for cooperating with The Council for a Parliament of the World’s Religions and the International Society for Science and Religion.
