I finally finished the Christology and Science manuscript and have sent it off to the publishers. It took a little longer than I expected, given the move to Norway, learning a new language, etc., but I feel very good about the final product!
Because I put everything else on hold while I finished the editing, I have not been keeping up on my blogging... sorry about that.
Also, since everything else must no longer be put on hold, I now have several other issues that will keep me from blogging for a couple of days. Two journal article proofs arrived this week, etc.
As soon as I catch my breath, I'll try to get back up to speed. I was planning on starting to blog a little on the themes of Pneumatology, compassion and/or the category of difference... any other ideas you would like to discuss?
congratulations LeRon! Perhaps this is a good time to tell you that I finished my comprehensive exams and expect to have passed all four, so that's exicting.
In terms of the options you suggested for a new blog, I would love to see something on the category of difference, since it seems to me that people avoid difference from the assumption that difference equals violence. Your thoughts?

Congrats! Any idea how long it will be before we can get our hands on a copy?

Thanks guys!
It usually takes about 10 months to a year for a book to come out, so hopefully it will be available by early next spring.
Sounds like a good idea, Tony. I can see how this would relate to your interest on the role of "difference" in comics, such as Xmen, etc.
More later...

Thanks, Chris.
Hey, say hi to James Wilson for me if/when you see him in Nashville.
